As many of you may know, this past weekend, the founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, and his longtime girlfriend, Priscilla Chan, married in a small ceremony in the backyard of their home. Only 100 guests were invited, few if any celebrities, and the meal was something all of us could have afforded for ourselves. Pretty impressive for a multi-billionaire. When you compare it to Kim Kardarshian's or Chelsea Clinton's weddings, they practically eloped. Good for them! As I have said before here in the Trenches, there is an inverse relationship between size and amount spent on the wedding and length of the marriage. In other words, the more ornate and expensive the wedding, the shorter the marriage. Look at Kim Kardashian if you don't believe me.
